Brought in my grandfather's Omega for a service. The team was careful to understand what the watch meant before they touched it. The consultation felt unhurried and genuine. It came back running beautifully, and they returned every single original part in a small envelope — that detail meant more than I expected.

Had a mechanical watch serviced here. The written estimate was clear and they stuck to it exactly. When I collected, the watchmaker walked me through what they'd found and what they'd done — I actually learned something. The accuracy is noticeably better than before. Good value for the level of work.

Quartz Care for a daily watch I'd been neglecting. Done on time and at the quoted price. The crown seal was failing and they flagged it without pushing me to do extra work — just mentioned it and let me decide. That kind of straightforwardness is hard to find.

I sent in a vintage Seiko that had been sitting in a drawer for years. It came back with a service report that actually told me what was done, what state the movement was in beforehand, and the timing results. I've had work done at other shops before, but this level of documentation was new to me. Worth it.

My father's watch needed careful work — the dial was fragile and I was worried about any damage. They were honest about the risks upfront, which I appreciated. The photos they sent during the process were reassuring. When it came back, the dial was intact and the movement was running properly. Careful hands.

Second time using Wristlore. First was a quartz battery service — simple, done on time. This time I brought in a different watch for a full mechanical service. The turnaround was within the timeframe they gave me. No drama, no sudden upcharges. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

A closer look at three pieces of work that illustrate how we approach different kinds of service requests.
A 1969 Longines Conquest arrived with a movement that had stopped entirely. The owner — the original wearer's son — was uncertain whether restoration was even possible given the watch's age and the unknown history of any prior service work.
A Legacy Preservation consultation allowed us to understand the watch's story. Full disassembly revealed a broken mainspring and dried lubricants throughout. The caliber was completely rebuilt with period-correct approach, and a custom crown gasket was fabricated. The original dial was conserved without alteration.
The movement was returned to reliable operation with a rate deviation of +4 seconds per day across six positions. A full photographic record was provided. The owner now wears it regularly. Service completed in seven weeks.
A modern automatic watch from a well-regarded Swiss manufacturer arrived losing approximately 45 seconds per day — well outside its specification. Previous service at a different workshop had not resolved the issue.
Full mechanical restoration was performed. Timing machine diagnostics showed an inconsistent amplitude pattern suggesting hairspring coil adhesion. After careful separation and re-curving, the movement was reassembled, lubricated, and tested across six positions over 72 hours.
Rate deviation reduced to +3/−2 seconds per day. The client reported the watch performing consistently for over two months after collection. Completed in nine working days, within the quoted range.
A quartz watch with a sentimental back-story had been unused for several years. The owner assumed the battery was simply dead, but noticed the case back appeared to have been improperly resealed at some point previously.
Quartz Care Package. New battery installed, movement contacts cleaned. The case back inspection confirmed that the existing gasket had been compressed unevenly. A correctly sized replacement gasket was fitted and the case properly re-torqued. Crystal evaluated and found to be in good condition.
Watch returned to normal function within two days. The owner was informed of the prior sealing issue and advised on appropriate care going forward. Cost came in at the quoted amount — no additions required.
